Introduction
Learn Swift (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is an educational application that helps you learn the Swift programming language and SwiftUI. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled by the app and the choices you have.
By creating an account or using the app, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Information Used by the App
The app supports account creation or sign-in, but account data and content you add are not sent to or visible to the developer. The developer cannot view them. Having an account does not mean your data is sent to the developer.
The app uses the following information to provide its features. This is not information collected or viewed by the developer:

We do not collect payment card details (subscriptions are processed by Apple), precise location, contacts, or photos. We do not use cross-app advertising tracking.
How the App Uses Information
- Create and manage your account across devices
- Save, display, and sync your learning progress
- Provide subscriptions and restore purchases via Apple
- Send optional local daily study reminders (only if you enable notifications)
Where Data Is Stored
Account information and learning content are not sent to the developer, and the developer cannot view them. Sign-in, sync and payment providers handle information required for their services under their own policies.
- On your device: SwiftData, Keychain, and local settings; limited summary data for the home-screen widget (if you add it), never sent to our servers
- iCloud (optional): sync for email-based accounts and learning progress when you are signed into iCloud, via Apple CloudKit
- Apple & Google: sign-in and in-app purchases under their respective policies
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
Subscriptions
Premium content is available through an auto-renewing monthly subscription billed by Apple. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled according to Apple’s policies.
Your Rights & Choices
- Delete account: Settings → Account → Delete Account (removes local data and requests CloudKit deletion)
- Sign out at any time from Settings
- Notifications: enable or disable in the app or iOS Settings
- Privacy questions: contact us for guidance. We cannot access or delete app data on your behalf because it is not available to us. Use the account and data controls available in the app and your device settings.
Age rating
The app is suitable for ages 4 and up, according to its App Store age rating.
Security & Retention
We use industry-standard measures such as salted password hashing and Keychain storage. Data is retained while your account is active. After account deletion, we remove associated app data to the extent reasonably possible; iCloud copies may persist briefly per Apple’s sync behavior.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this page from time to time. The “Effective” date above will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
